lastonbury is having a rest this year, leaving concert goers anxious to find new musical events. Fear not, though because this summer there are some incredible festivals for all music tastes.
For Music Lovers
Leeds and Reading Festival
One of the favourites among rock fans, the festival draws thousands of people in each year. With acts such as Sum 41 and Fall Out Boy, it’s set to be the most in-demand festival this year.
Date: August 24-24th
British Summer Time Festival - Hyde Park
The festival brings in huge acts from around the world, including Bruno Mars, Santana and Eric Clapton. It’s a great day out, and you’ll also see Paul Simon in his last ever performance.
Dates: July 6th and July 14th
Creamfields- Daresbury, Warrington
Fans of dance music will be happy to know that the Creamfields Festival is offering D&B, Trance, Grime and Dance lovers as a huge line up. Acts that have been confirmed are Eric Prydz and Fatboy Slim.
Date: August 23rd-26th 2018.
Something A Bit Different
Bestival - Lulworth Castle, Dorset
If you’re looking for a new experience, then there’s nothing better than the thrill ride which is Bestival. There are some great music acts as well as comedians. Mark Ronson and Chaka Khan will be performing, and the quirky themes are addictive. Fancy dress is welcomed and encouraged. It's definitely not a day you’ll forget.
