Machu Picchu

Lovingly known as the citadel in the sky, Machu Picchu is surrounded by picturesque Andean peaks. Cradled by the luscious sacred valleys, every single structure of the Machu Picchu is a feast for the eyes and can enrich your knowledge with some enthralling observations.

Sacsayhuaman

Built in the mid-15th century, Sacsayhuaman is an incredible archaeological site located in Cusco. The fortress was built on a large hill overlooking the northern part of the city, and displays unbelievable architectural advancement through its walls mimicking the curves of the mountain.

Nazca Lines

Hundreds of contradictory theories and speculations have increased the allure of the Nazca lines, located in the desert soil of Southern Peru. It’s basically a combination of geometric and animal shaped lines rooted deep into the earth left behind by our unknown predecessors.

Kuélap

This is a site three times older than the Machu Picchu. It was built by the Chachapoyans – a pre-Inca civilization in Peru. Kuélap is located among the cloud forests of Northern Peru.

Moray

Looking somewhat similar to Roman amphitheatre, Moray is widely believed to be used by the Incas to experiment with different crops. With different conditions on each level, it displays a brilliant orientation to the sun and the winds.

Chan Chan

Chan Chan was the capital of the Chimú Kingdom and the largest city of pre-Columbian America. It’s now an archaeological heaven with ruins of pyramidal temples, cemeteries, reservoirs, and symmetrically arranged rooms.
