Glastonbury 2019: Who Can You Expect?

T he 2019 edition of the Glastonbury Festival is expected to make a few changes or improvements to factors like the diversity that saw organizers criticized in 2017. With tickets expected to go on sale on 4th October this year, the objective of the festival is to combat touts by having interested attendees register before buying tickets. One of the things needed for successful registration is a photograph taken within the last two years, with this also being mandatory for those who have already registered.  With a booking fee of £5, next year’s tickets are going to be about £10 more expensive than last year’s, with £248 for standard weekend tickets. While last year featured the likes of Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters, next year’s expected headliners will include two or three acts who had never featured before according to festival founder Michael Eavis, who spoke earlier this year at the NME Awards. Some of the biggest names expected to grace the pyramid stage include; Madonna, Arctic Monkeys, Kendric Lamar, Kylie Minogue, Fleetwood Mac, Paul McCartney, Taylor  Swift, Noel, and Liam Gallagher as well as Stormzy.
