here are so many laptops and computers these days, it can be tough to choose. This is especially true if you’re looking for one to travel with, as many are simply too big. Not to mention, the ones that are appropriately sized frequently seem to lack reasonable memory and battery life. So how do you choose? Thankfully, if this conundrum has befallen you, we have the solution!
After much research, we’ve determined the best laptop to travel with is the MacBook Air. Now bare with me Windows fans, I’ll explain fully. When traveling, the most important factors are most likely going to be the size of the laptop, its memory, battery life, and of course, how much it costs. To begin with, the MacBook Air has a compact 33cm screen, and weighs a mere 1.1 kg. This makes for easy portability, which is quite handy when you need to make room for other things in your luggage or when toting it around in a case. On top of that, battery life is more than adequate on this model. In fact, the average charge lasts around 10 hours. That means you could have it with you and running throughout your day without it dying or needing to be plugged in.
Besides that, the laptop has some impressive internal specs for its size. It features a 128GB SSD for plenty of storage, and an i5 processor which is pretty quick. All this is paired with 8GB RAM, and a screen resolution of 1440 x 900. With these specifications in mind, it really meets and exceeds what is needed for a travel laptop. However, it is a bit of an investment, costing 949 Euro from the Apple store. Despite the price, we still highly recommend it as it is the best suited laptop for all encompassing travel needs.
