Cervinia is the perfect resort for the avid skier in all of us. It has incredibly long runs and snow reliability is essentially guaranteed from early December until late April. Furthermore, the Italian mountain is connected to Zermatt, giving riders and skiers alike the opportunity to experience the Swiss Alps as well.

If you’re an expert skier looking for a challenge, look no further then Alagna. Situated in a picturesque mountain village, this gem of Italy will challenge even the most advanced of skiers. It is also linked to the resorts of Gressoney and Champoluc.
3. Cortina d'Ampezzo
Considered by some to be the most fashionable resort in Italy, Cortina d'Ampezzo is a wonderful ski resort. It has an excellent array of intermediate to expert trails and will provide any skier with an enjoyable experience.
4. Madesimo
Madesimo is an excellent option for those in the Milan and Bergamo area as well as those who are in Lake Como for the weekend and looking for an area to ski for the day. Madesimo provides the most value out of any of the Italian ski resorts, as its Six-day lift pass is only 170 GBP.
5. Courmayeur
Located less than two hours from Geneva and Turin, the ski resort of Courmayeur is a wonderful weekend destination for skiers in Italy. Courmayeur is by no means massive and can be covered in less then a weekend if you’re willing to get up early and attack the mountain.
