veryone no doubt fancies the idea of going to some new place and exploring all that has to be explored. Planning, however, is a conundrum for people considering all the activities and sites a place offers juxtaposed against the little time one has. A weekend getaway is one good example of what I am talking about. If you are spared three days from a week and you want to make the best of it in Wales, you surely do need some help in planning a beautiful break. Let me give you a few ideas of where you can visit in Wales and what to do once there for some sort of fulfilment.
Hay on Wye
One beloved place by former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, this town is home to Britain's annual literary celebrations/ festival. For a complete adventure, book a stay in The Majestic Bus and enjoy panoramic views around Herefordshire. Enjoy Mediterranean eats while here. You can go kayaking, visit old bookshops and local flea markets.
Llandeilo
This is one artistic town, featuring enviable architecture, art galleries and antique shops. If you stay at Cawdor Arms you are sure to experience amazing service and great meals. Visit sites like Ginhaus Deli, Aberglansey botanical gardens, and Dinefwr Estates within which you will find an Iron Age Fort, a deer park, and a 12th century castle.
St. Davids
This is the smallest city in Wales but is packed with lots of sites to visit. These include At. Non's Bay, Oriel y Parc, a renowned cathedral and Easy Island. Apart from delicious meals from At. Davids Kitchen and other restaurants, Gianni's offers the tastiest Italian ice creams. AA 5 Gold Star rated hotels in the city are Penrhiw Hotel and Roch Castle, both recommended places to escape your daily routines for a weekend.
