Residents will be pleased to hear about the Totally Baked festival, a street food festival in Manchester where all they serve is cake. This event is targeting cake fans considering that it is the first of its kind to happen in Manchester. It will happen at New Bailey where the event will be celebrating everything chocolatey and sweet. For those who have a sweet tooth, then this is your chance at this totally baked event.
The event is guaranteed to be a hit considering that the cakes will be made by the finest in the region. The organisers of the event have promised the best bakeries, dessert makers and local patisseries that are sure of providing sweet heaven for the attendants.
The confirmed stakeholders so far are vegan bakery Nicely Kitchen who are actually based in Manchester, Drizzle City Bakes and The Raw Bake Station who make their treats from natural ingredients. The natural ingredients include Orange cream slice, Peanut Butter and Jelly Slice and Orange, Choc and Ginger Slice. This way, you are guaranteed of healthy as well as tasty cakes at the event.
Aside from selling the desserts, Totally Baked will also have live music from Alice Hollywood, mouth-watering raffle and a bunch of cake themed games that are sure to be fun. This event will actually be for a good cause since all the proceeds will go to the Caketober campaign of Forever Manchester. It is a charity meant for supporting community activities across Greater Manchester.
Previous events held have worked for the benefit of disabled people, young people, cancer support projects, sports, education, homelessness and even the environment. The event is set to be held on Thursday, October 12, and is expected to run from 11am to 4pm. All are welcome to participate in this community building event.
