If you don’t think Instagram is for you or you simply wish to get rid of it, you might wonder how to delete an account.
Fortunately, deleting your account only needs a few confirmations and clicks on the website. However, this isn’t for the faint-hearted because doing so will delete your account and everything related with it permanently. Here’s how to delete your account.

Once you’ve decided that you wish to proceed, click the button for permanently delete my account. If you wish to delete a different account, you’ll have to log in again and replicate the process.
For security purposes, Instagram can’t delete on your behalf. You’ll have to do so yourself. Once you get through the confirmation phase, you don’t need to do anything else. The social site will delete your account forever.
