The Playstation Classic: What is it?

The Play station classic is bound to be the latest addition to Sony’s line. Expected to be 45% smaller than the original game console of 1994, this edition is going to be available from 3rd December. This new system is going to be compatible with almost all of the new smart televisions as it will have a high definition HDMI video output as well as twenty pre-installed games in place of the conventional disc drive.

Compared to Nintendo’s Classic Miniseries, though amid great competition, the Play station Classic will be a bit more expensive. It is also said to be the better option based on hardware supply. Some features of the Play station include two full-size wired controllers connected to USB plugs.

Though the full list of the pre-installed games has yet to be released, some of the games you can expect include; Jumping Flash, R4 Ridge Racer Type 4, Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms. In the UK, this Play Station Classic will retail at around £89.99.
